This is Maddie (Well named).  Maddie was due to go to her new home and the night before she was sitting with her leg up and in a lot of pain.  We immediately took her to the vet's who were not sure what was wrong.  We think she had a knock from one of the other puppies.  Maddie had to go to the vet's over the next few months for anti-inflamatory drugs, antibiotics and x rays.This injury however did not hinder her being a puppy and she is always up to some sort of mischief with all the other dogs. We had a few people who were keen to take Maddie in spite of her leg but again she had been here so long and her legs were under the table (so to speak) that we thought ("What's another one?") Sound familiar?  So Maddie is here with us and will live out her life here.  She limps but it does not stop her from walking, swimming and being a normal newfie.
